
Nadine Chahin is a Lebanese Arabic typography guru, with graphic design degree from the AUB, another of Typography from Reading in UK. She shares her insights on what’s going on in the Arabic typography universe through her blog, Arabic Type. She’s currently working as the Arabic specialist with the German-based Linotype.
Keep an eye on her “Frankenstein” posts, where she features the failure Arabised brand typographies. Also her bibliography about Arabic calligraphy and the writing system. As well as her features on the latest Typography related events especially the event Khatt Kufi & Kaffiya where Nadine herself will be speaking regarding the practical constraints for Arabic type usage and typesetting in new media.
